Dr. Lisa Ding
Dr. Lisa moved to San Antonio, Texas with her family when she was a junior in high school. Since then, she has loved and made San Antonio area her home. She attended Tom C. Clark high school from 1999 to 2001. She then attended University of Texas at San Antonio where she received the Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. Between 2004 and 2008, she attended the University of Texas Health Science center at San Antonio Dental School and received her doctoral degree in Dental Surgery. In the following three years, Dr. Lisa practiced in local dental offices as a general dentist treating mostly children, which helped her discover her passion for working with children. In 2013, Dr. Lisa completed a two-year residency program in Pediatric Dentistry at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. During the following three years, Dr. Lisa returned to private practice part-time and also remained at the university as clinical assistant professor to work with other pediatric residents. Recently, Dr Lisa has decided to return full-time to what she loves the most - private practice. Dr. Lisa believes learning is a life-long journey and likes to stay updated with all the current dental knowledge.
Dr. Lisa has always been an active member of AAPD, TAPD, TDA. ADA, as well as SAAPD.
Dr. Lisa is married to her husband, Dr. Jin. Together they welcomed their beautiful first baby last year, Liam. Dr. Lisa and her husband are also avid animal lovers. They are proud owners of three lovely cats who they rescued as kittens. In her spare time, Dr. Lisa loves to spend time with her families and friends. They are passionate about cooking together and trying out new recipes at home, as well as travelling and trying different dining hot spots. Dr. Lisa can not wait to explore the world with little Liam when he grows up.
Dr. Tim Henson
Dr. Tim Henson received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Kentucky in 1983, subsequently earning a Certificate of Pediatric Dentistry in 1985 from the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Tim's career has included public health, academics and private practice.
He was a faculty member and the Director of the Pediatric Dentistry Residency program at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio for twelve years before returning to private practice in 2012. He is Board Certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He also holds active membership in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and has served on various committees and boards of both organizations. Dr. Tim enjoys travel and the joys of great food in his spare time.
